 Produced during the years 1995 - 2002 Opel Vectra B is really an average car - and it is not only because of the segment in which it is. This model is maybe not distinguished by anything particularly, however, the universal nature made that it enjoyed great popularity, especially in the Western Europe. These sympathizers of Vectra B, to whom the term "average" does not seem nice, I reassure that completely unnecessarily. As a car of this class does not have to surprise just to be good. And a car like this is Opel Vectra B. In 1995, this model could be purchased in two body versions - sedan (saloon and liftback. A year later, the sation wagon (estate) car was introduced to the showromms. All of them are characterized by nice dynamic appearance, but one has to admit honestly that they do not pull at the heartstrings specially. The design of the car was improved after face lifting in 1999. There has been introduced, inter alia, a new front bumper, chromed frame and radiator guards. In addition, the body was better protected against corrosion, about which many owners complained. The interior of the Vectra B is spacious and tasteful. Many elements this model inherited from the one-higher-class Omega. A well-designed dashboard with a large speedometer should take every driver fancies. The car was popular as a family car - especially the estate (station wagon) version - because the designers managed to get a lot of space for passengers with a quite big trunk (500/790 sedan and liftback l, station wagon 460/1490 l). Since the beginning of the sale Opel has provided a wide range of engines for this model, which was boosted with the passage of time. Most common ones are those gasoline 1.6 l / 75 and 101 HP, 1.8 l / 116 HP, 2.0 l 16V / 136 HP and diesel 2.0 L TDIl with power 82 and 101 HP. Used in Vectra B independent suspension of all wheels and a precised steering system provided good driving specifications, which should satisfy every driver.
