Agila B II
Opel Agila BII

The successor of Agila A I. It was first presented in 2007 in Frankfurt am Main. It has to be in the salons  in the spring of 2008. Produced in Hungary in the same factory as his twin sister Suzuki Splash. In Comparison with its predecessor it is not only prettier car, but also much more practical.

Manufacturers stress that they hope that this model will be admired especially by women. And that is why, the new Agila is no longer a "box-like" car with an uninteresting interior. She has got a lot of beautiful, rounded shapes. The car is 20 cm longer and 6 cm wider, and it causes that especially on the back of the couch there is a little more space than before.

The interior of the car has also been improved. It was tastefully designed by Ms Belinda Muller. A lot of better materials have been used to finish it better than the interior of Agila A. The colors of the upholstery can be chosen when the car is bought.

Unfortunately, because of the improvements made in the appearance the car lost some trunk (boot) capacity. Although in comparison with a car of this class it is still good. In normal configuration the trunk capacity is 225 l. After the folding of the rear couch we get 1050 l.

The car is still really nimble. In addition, gentlemen from Opel decided to borrow the steering from Suzuki which resulted in the car driving nicely.

New Agila will be able to be obtained with the best engine of the previous version. That means two powered by gasoline 1.0 and 1.2 liter and 1.3 CDTI turbodiesel.

We believe that this model is likely to conquer the market of automotive industry, but the cars of this class the price i s very important and it will have the major impact on the popularity of Agila B.
